Expensive Hobby

Military aircraft are not only for military use but also for private use too. Retired or surplus aircrafts are owned by private individuals and kept and maintained as a hobby...an expensive one! Such a place is "Thunder City" in Africa where private individuals operate and own even former nuclear weapon delivery capable aircraft! Such an aircraft is the British Lightning. Once the pride of the Royal Air Force and defender and deterent for the United Kindom.

Beginning to the end!

Beginning of flight, to the end of flight. Ending at the "elephant's graveyard". Where all retired or "moth balled" aircraft gathers. Somewhere in the Nevada desert where the air is dry and humid and keeping away the feared corosion to the metal skin of planes.
Being also a cheap alternative too for idling commercial aircrafts too. using the dry desert ait to preserve it for later use when better times are back again! Aircraft being kept and later canibakised for spare parts and also a cheap alternative too!

Beginning of Flight - The Wright Way

Flight

Flight, which had been fascinating mankind since the beginning of time. Manned, ummanned or as natural as a bird itself is freedom being in the air. Freedom and unrestricted as man can imagine.
Freedom in the air, without restriction except in the cockpit itself of an aircraft. Free to move and navigate. Feeling as free as a bird in the air. Like a bird in a "metal bird" compared in ancient days even in canvas!

Metal or carbon fibre as it maybe but it flies! Comes in all shapes and sizes but thanks the the Wright brothers, whom prove it was possible in their very own flying machine, Kitty Hawk.
